Surefooted Angels brings commitment, energy and enthusiasm to support its effort to raise substantial funds for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. Ticket sales, however, are not enough. Other monetary and in-kind donations will be gratefully accepted. Donations made prior to May 15, 2008 will be recognized in the program. Donors may choose to remain anonymous. Net proceeds of this event will benefit the Surefooted Angels and the Breast Cancer 3-Day. Surefooted Angels is incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the State of California, has filed for exemption status, and is currently awaiting IRS and Franchise Tax Board approval. Donations are NOT tax deductible until exemption status is granted. Approval is expected to occur sometime in 2008. Donation acknowledgments will be sent out at year end for tax purposes. Only that amount which exceeds FMV is potentially tax deductible. |
